Is there anything better than the smell of vanilla and sugar in the air as the festive season approaches? Here at Vanilla Pod Bakery, we certainly don’t think so!
We recently had the absolute pleasure of packing up our piping bags and heading over to the breathtaking Temple Guiting Manor in the Cotswolds to host a very special Christmas Cookie Decorating Experience.
An Afternoon of Festive Creativity
We were joined by 15 wonderful guests for a lovely two-hour session dedicated to all things sweet and festive. The guests were all different ages from 3 to 60+ years old. We hosted the experience in Manor’s beautiful dinning room and the atmosphere was perfect - cozy, cheerful, and full of holiday anticipation.
The goal for the guests? To turn blank canvases (our signature biscuits) into edible Christmas cookie masterpieces. And let me tell you, the creativity in the room was overflowing! From delicate snowflakes to jolly Santa faces, it was amazing to see everyone get stuck in and unleash their inner artist.
All the Tools for Success
One of the best things about our decorating experiences is that we take care of absolutely everything. We want our guests to focus entirely on the fun, without worrying about the cleanup!
For this event, Vanilla Pod provided the full decorating kit, including:
• The Canvas: Our delicious, freshly baked un-iced cookies.
• The Palette: A vibrant array of fondant and royal icings.
• The Sparkle: Heaps of festive sprinkles and edible decorations.
• The Gear: Aprons for everyone and all the necessary tools to cut, shape, and pipe.
Plus gift bags to take the biscuits home…if they last that long!
A Sweet Success
The two hours flew by in a blur of laughter, icing sugar, and concentration. By the end of the session, the table was filled with "super" Christmas-themed biscuits that looked almost too good to eat (though we’re sure they didn’t last long!).
It was a joy to bring people together at such a gorgeous venue for some wonderful festive fun. Whether you are a baking pro or a complete beginner, there is something so relaxing and rewarding about biscuit decorating.
