Vanilla Pod Bakery’s Bespoke Wedding Cake Journey
Our process is designed to be enjoyable, collaborative, and entirely focused on creating the perfect centrepiece for your special day at The Slaughters Manor House.
1. Initial Enquiry & Availability Check
• What we do: We start by confirming your wedding date and venue (The Slaughters Manor House!) to ensure we have availability for your specific date.
• What we need: Simply let us know your date, rough guest count, and any initial ideas you have.
2. Consultation & Tasting Box
• The Experience: This is the most delicious part! We offer an exclusive Tasting Box delivered right to your door. This box allows you to sample a curated selection of our most popular and luxurious flavour combinations.
• Design Meeting: This is a focused session (either virtually or in-person) where we discuss your vision. We cover everything from your wedding style (Manor elegance, Marquee glamour, etc.) and colour palette to flower details and any dietary requirements. We can also look at your stationery and dress details for inspiration!
3. Design Proposal & Quote
• The Blueprint: Following the consultation, we create a comprehensive quote with several different options.
• Refinement: We work with you to refine every detail until the design is absolutely perfect.
4. Booking & Final Details
• Securing Your Date: To formally book your order, a deposit is required. This secures The Vanilla Pod Bakery for your wedding day.
• Logistics: In the weeks leading up to your wedding, we finalise all logistics, including liaising directly with The Slaughters Manor House or your wedding planner regarding delivery, setup times, and any specific display requirements.
