Six Tiered Show Stopping Wedding Cake

 Holly and Alex’s gorgeous summer wedding.

 

On a beautiful summers day in June 2022 we were privileged to create this epic six tiered wedding cake at the gorgeous Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe, Wiltshire.

The beautiful cake was commissioned Holly and Alex, and the cake was a complete show stopper.  Standing at just over 5ft, it took myself and team just over 30 hours to design, create, deliver and set up.
The cake was made up of four mouts-watering flavours, Belgian Chocolate Truffle, Red Velvet and Cookies & Cream and Madagascan Vanilla, in total we used over 70 eggs and 10 kilos of butter!

We arrived at Manor House in the afternoon, while the couple and their guests were enjoying their wedding breakfast in the restaurant. We set up in party barn, which is located upstairs in the venue, the set up took two of us approximately four hours. This awesome set up, saw us stacking all of the cake on site as well as dressing it with over 100x stunning fresh flowers provided by Jules Wild and her team at Wild & Co Flowers. The flowers were truly stunning.
